Dastan Satpaev’s clinical strike for Kairat Almaty against Tobol earlier today has provided the latest evidence of why Liam Rosenior rates him so highly.
The Kazakh sensation, who officially joins Chelsea on his 18th birthday this August, continued his 2026 form by finding the net in a top-of-the-table clash.
This latest goal follows a remarkable season where Dastan Satpaev notched 19 goals in all competitions and became the Champions League’s youngest-ever goalscorer.
Kazakhstan manager Talgat Baysufinov recently revealed that Rosenior is very pleased with Satpaev’s development and plans to integrate him directly into Chelsea’s first-team training camp in August.
Having seen Estevao Willian’s rise, the teenager is making a compelling case for him to bypass a loan move and become a permanent fixture in the 2026/27 season.

Dastan Satpaev continues his fine form for Kairat
Dastan Satpaev continued his electric 2026 with a clinical 19th-minute equaliser in Kairat Almaty’s hard-fought 1–1 draw against Tobol.
Operating with his trademark intensity, the 17-year-old displayed brilliant anticipation to latch onto a loose ball and fire home, marking his third league goal in just five games.
Beyond the strike, his performance displayed plenty of bravery. He led the press with relentless energy and completed four successful dribbles, constantly unsettling the Tobol backline.
It was a mature display that perfectly validates Liam Rosenior’s desire to fast-track the attacker into Chelsea’s first team this August.
