Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott enjoyed a stellar outing during a 2-1 win over Arsenal in the Premier League, and is a player who Chelsea have been scouting this season.
Scott, who will be hoping for a call up to Thomas Tuchel’s England side for the upcoming World Cup, scored the winning goal to pile more pressure on Arsenal at the top of the table.
Manchester City now have Mikel Arteta’s side in their sights, however Liam Rosenior will be hoping to throw a spanner in the works when they visit Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Chelsea are set to be busy in the summer transfer market as they look to back the manager, who they have no ambition to part ways with at the end of the season.
Journalist Simon Phillips gave an update on the Blues’ interest in Scott, confirming the club have the midfielder firmly on their radar when it comes to potential reinforcements.

Chelsea are well stocked at the moment in the middle of the park, however could be looking for a big-name addition if Enzo Fernandez decides to leave the club.
The Argentine is currently suspended by the club internally for comments during the international break hinting at his desire for a move to Real Madrid in the future.

The Blues have already seemingly secured a midfield signing ahead of the summer in the form of Valentin Barco from Strasbourg.
The youngster has enjoyed a stellar campaign at the fellow BlueCo club since moving into midfield this season, and the Blues had to be quick to stop him being snapped up by another top side.
Chelsea have beaten Bayern Munich to the signing, however the addition of another promising midfielder in Scott cannot be ruled out yet.
