Stefon Diggs has been having a tough time since the 2025 NFL season finished. He lost the Super Bowl final with the New England Patriots to the Seattle Seahawks, and was then released by the franchise. He is currently left without a franchise.
Aside from his problems on the field, he and rapper Cardi B had a high-profile breakup. Recently, the player has been involved in a new controversy.
Cardi B and Diggs have been in a relationship since 2024, and even welcomed a son together in November, 2025. The rapper was previously married with Offset, whom she filed for divorce in 2024 while seeking primary custody of their children. Offset and Cardi B got married in 2017 and have three children together. Due to problems in their relationship, she decided to leave him.

Their divorce proceedings are still ongoing, but recently took a new twist. Court documents obtained by [TMZ](https://www.tmz.com/2026/04/09/offset-wanted-dna-test-cardi-b-baby-with-stefon-diggs/) revealed that Offset requested for DNA testing related to one of Cardi B’s children, specifically mentioning the child as a newborn. It was directed at Cardi B’s son with Diggs, with Offset most likely claiming it is actually his child. He had previously posted on Instagram shortly after the birth, captioning an Instagram story with “My kid lol”. He claimed that they had reconciled briefly before she filed for divorce.
While the request was rejected by the judge, a separate paternity testing motion for another child was granted. Additionally, the court has imposed a gag order prohibiting both parties from making derogatory public statements about each other to protect the family’s privacy.
Diggs himself has not commented publicly on the matter yet, adopting a silent measure in the Cardi B-Offset issue.
Cardi B and Diggs have sparked reunion rumors after being spotted together in Washington, D.C., on April 8, 2026. The wide receiver was seen with his mother Stephanie Diggs and brother Trevon Diggs, and attended Cardi B’s “Little Miss Drama” tour stop at Capital One Arena.
After the concert was over, Diggs joined Cardi B at her afterparty at Throw Social. Videos captured by the paparazzi show the rapper approaching Diggs’ white sports car outside the venue. They spoke for a brief moment and she then entered the passenger seat before driving off together.
It remains to be seen what new developments occur in the Stefon Diggs-Cardi B saga.
