Chelsea want to pair Morgan Rogers with Cole Palmer
It’s been reported Chelsea are open to signing more players with proven Premier League experience this summer.
The Blues have reportedly shortlisted Nottingham Forest’s Murillo, and have previously been linked Aston Villa star Rogers.
According to reports Chelsea have now renewed their interest in Rogers, with the Blues said to be looking for an attacker who can operate from the left and centrally.
Rogers ticks those boxes and TEAMtalk have reported the Blues want to pair him with Palmer as part of a long term attacking plan.
The report adds Chelsea’s co-director of recruitment Joe Shields is driving the move and is pushing hard to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
TEAMtalk also adds if Rogers did make the switch to Stamford Bridge, then Manchester United would step up their pursuit of Palmer.
Rogers has scored ten goals and registered seven assists in 45 appearances in all competitions, and it’s thought any potential deal could reach £100m.
