Chelsea fans see£150m star tipped for big move

Former England striker Emile Heskey has suggested that Manchester United and Barcelona could emerge as future destinations for Cole Palmer, should the attacker eventually decide to leave Chelsea.

Palmer, who has quickly become the creative heartbeat of ***CHELSEA***’s side since arriving from Manchester City a few transfer windows ago, has been one of the standout performers in the Premier League this season. The stars goals, assists and flair have also made him integral to England national football team plans ahead of major tournaments.

Speaking this week, Heskey argued that Palmer’s rise will naturally attract interest from Europe’s elite and that United and Barcelona fit the profile of clubs capable of tempting him away in the future. He noted that both sides are in transitional phases and searching for young, high-ceiling talents to rebuild around.

Heskey stopped short of saying Palmer should leave, instead framing the discussion around long-term career trajectories and the allure attached to historically dominant sides such as United and Barcelona. Still, his remarks have quickly circulated within fan spaces, adding an unwelcome layer of transfer noise around a player who only recently established himself as a Stamford Bridge favourite.

Asked whether he expects Palmer to stay at CHELSEA for a good few more years, ex-England striker Heskey told OLBG: ‘If Cole Palmer is a Manchester United fan, probably not!

‘I could see someone like him in a Barcelona shirt. The way that he plays, the fans would love him. But then again, when you’re a kid and you’re growing up, there’s things that you dream of doing as a footballer.

‘You dream of playing at a World Cup. You dream of putting on that England shirt. You dream of lifting the FA Cup. Things like that. And you dream of playing for your boyhood club.

‘So Cole will have dreams too, possibly to play for Manchester United, so I wouldn’t put it past him if he did turn up there and they did take him on.’
