Manchester City slashed Arsenal's lead to just six points with a commanding 3-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. The result has blown the doors of the Premier League title race wide open once more.
The Gunners had gone into the weekend's fixtures with the chance to stretch their advantage at the top to 12 points. But a shock home defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday threw a massive spanner in the works for Mikel Arteta's men.
With City holding a game in hand over their title rivals, plus a crucial head-to-head clash between the two sides just a week away, victories in both fixtures would see Pep Guardiola's side draw level on points with Arsenal, heaping the pressure on at a critical stage of the campaign.
However, as things stand, the Gunners still have the advantage - albeit with their match against City at the Etihad Stadium next week becoming that bit more important.
