A Gunners victory would stretch their lead to nine points, although City, who hold a game in hand, could cut that margin back to six with a win.
Conversely, a Manchester City win at the Etihad would flip the script and pile pressure on Mikel Arteta’s side.
Three points for City would lift them to 67, just three adrift, and winning the Palace game would then erase the gap entirely.
