U21s preview: Crystal Palace v Arsenal

Our young Gunners will be aiming to finish the regular season on a high as we travel to south London to face Crystal Palace in Premier League 2 on Monday, April 13.

The match will take place at the VBS Community Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 7pm (UK time). Supporters can watch the action live on The Arsenal app.

Having secured a play-off place already, we head into this fixture looking to climb further up the table, with hopes of securing a home tie when the Premier League 2 play-offs get underway in the coming week.

Last time out, we claimed a 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion, courtesy of Demiane Agustien’s first-half strike.

The Opposition

Crystal Palace sit just one point behind us on 28 points, having recorded eight wins, four draws and seven defeats from their 19 matches so far this season. Like us, their play-off place is already secured, meaning their focus will be on finishing as high up the table as possible.

The Eagles come into this game off the back of a 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest. However, they previously produced an impressive 5-1 win away at Liverpool, underlining the threat they carry on their day.

The last meeting between the sides ended in an entertaining 2-2 draw, with Michal Rosiak and Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand finding the net for us.
