The now-Coventry City manager has seen with Chelsea director Eghbali, which is interesting timing considering some of the stories emerging this month.
According to a report from Football Insider, Chelsea are set to make an approach to Lampard to discuss potentially taking over from Rosenior at Stamford Bridge.
It would be Lampard's third spell in charge of the club as manager, and although he might consider a return, it feels unlikely as he edges closer to being promoted with Coventry.
Lampard might be considering testing himself with Coventry after the project he's built during his time with the Midlands outfit.
