In the second half of their 3-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday, Manchester City had several good performers.
The likes of Jeremy Doku and Nico O’Reilly impressed, with both men getting their names on the scoresheet at Stamford Bridge.
Doku really attacked Chelsea’s right flank as City posed more of a threat in the second 45 minutes. However, defensively, they also did very well.

Marc Guehi shows Chelsea what they’ve missed out on
Marc Guehi is receiving a lot of praise for his goal against Chelsea, and rightly so. He took it well, finishing like a centre-forward.
At the back, though, the central defender still managed to do his job, and excellently you would have to add.
Liam Rosenior’s side did create a few opportunities in the first half, but that mostly came down City’s right side.
Guehi was playing on the left side of central defence and was solid there, especially in the second half.
As per Sofascore, no player made more defensive actions than the 25-year-old, who managed to record nine. He made three interceptions, which was the most in the game, and also made three tackles.
Chelsea had more than one opportunity to make a serious effort to sign Guehi. The England international was obviously available before his move to City in January.

Liverpool also agreed a deal with Crystal Palace for his signature at the end of the last summer transfer window. That fell through but showed that he was also on the market back then.
On Sunday, Chelsea’s owners and sporting directors saw with their own eyes what they could have had if they did things a bit differently. After that performance, they must really regret not trying harder to sign Guehi.
Guehi was on Chelsea’s radar, but finances and other factors prevented them from making a serious move.
City paid just £20m to sign Guehi from Palace after the Three Lions star entered the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park.
He is thought to be on huge money at the Etihad, though, the kind of money that Chelsea clearly did not want to pay. However, whether City are paying Guehi £200,000 a week or £300,000 a week, he looks worth his salary at this moment in time.
