Liam Rosenior’s job at Chelsea is already in doubt after eight defeats in his 21 matches as manager, but across the capital, Arsenal could be gearing up for a change in the dugout too.
Rosenior watched his side impress in the first half against Man City on Sunday, only for Pep Guardiola’s men to step up a gear and end up winning 3-0. It was a third consecutive Premier League defeat.
A fifth loss in six, the only other result being a 7-0 win over Port Vale. Rosenior’s future is in doubt, even if reports claim Chelsea will stick with the former Strasbourg boss, even without Champions League football.

Over at Arsenal, Mikel Arteta’s future is also a big question mark. According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Arteta will walk if Arsenal fail to win the Premier League or the Champions League this term.
Arsenal eye Cesc Fabregas as Mikel Arteta replacement
From an Arsenal point of view, losing Arteta would be a huge blow. But having come so close, on so many occasions, a new perspective may aid the Gunners. Well, it seems they have picked a replacement.

Mundo Deportivo say Arsenal want to raid Serie A high-flyers Como for Cesc Fabregas. It comes after a stunning season in Italy, in which Como look as though they will qualify for the Champions League.
That is despite a 4-3 loss to Inter. Fabregas has sparkled in his role, and it has led to plenty of pundits suggesting him for the Chelsea job. John Terry said Fabregas could manage either Arsenal or Chelsea.
Eden Hazard dreams of watching a Chelsea side under Fabregas
Pundits in Italy can also see Fabregas managing Chelsea in the future, with both Marco Materazzi and Massimo Ambrosini suggesting as much. But for Eden Hazard, Fabregas as Chelsea boss is a dream.
The former Chelsea winger has spoken of how he dreams of being in the stands at Stamford Bridge, and watching Fabregas lead his old side out: “I explained [to him] that it was time to return to Chelsea.

“He joked about it, but I really think so. He loves football, he knows everything. I’m a Chelsea fan, I want the best for the club: that’s why I dream of Cesc on the bench, while I’m in the stands, enjoying the show.”
However, Hazard’s dream may have to wait. With Chelsea keen to pursue an era under Rosenior, and Arsenal poised to hire Fabregas if Arteta decides to depart, Chelsea may miss out on the Spaniard.
