Kobbie Mainoo misses Manchester United’s Premier League clash with Leeds United tonight due to a minor injury.
The 20-year-old has been ever-present in the United starting XI again under Michael Carrick having been frozen out of the team for the first-half of the campaign under Ruben Amorim.
But the midfielder’s run of games for his club comes to an end tonight, left out of the squad with Manuel Ugarte taking his place in midfield alongside Casemiro.
Reports suggest Mainoo’s absence is due to a minor injury with Michael Carrick expected to provide a further update later this evening.
The midfielder played for England during the international break and was part of the United squad that travelled over to Kildare, Ireland for a training camp last week.
He has started all 10 games since Carrick took the reins in January, playing the full 90 minutes on each of those occasions except for the defeat to Newcastle United.
Man Utd team to face Leeds

Ugarte meanwhile starts for the first time under Carrick having managed just 65 minutes of game time across six substitute appearances.
Elsewhere in the team, Benjamin Sesko starts up front with Bryan Mbeumo named among the subs.
Diogo Dalot was not part of United’s recent training camp due to injury with Noussair Mazraoui starting ahead of him at right-back.
With Harry Maguire suspended after his red card against Bournemouth, Lisandro Martinez returns from injury to join Leny Yoro in defence.
