Journalist Graeme Bailey claims Chelsea are bringing back goalkeeper Mike Penders next season to be number one.
Bailey goes as far to say that a decision has already been made by the club, and Penders will be returning from his loan at Strasbourg to take the number one spot.

So what would that mean for the likes of both Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen then? Are they both about to be sold this summer? Sanchez will be content at Chelsea at the moment, but only because he is the one starting games. Jorgensen has been injured apparently, but he did take the number one spot off Sanchez, albeit very briefly. Before that, he’s not been playing and will surely look to leave in the summer.

“Chelsea are bringing back Penders in the summer, and the plan is for him to stay, they won’t be loaning him out,” Bailey revealed for TEAMtalk this week.
“And I am told the expectation is that he will be number one.
“They rate him very highly, and Liam Rosenior, who as it stands will be in charge, is a huge fan of the player, having worked with him in France.”
It will be interesting to see if this actually happens.
