Chelsea are expected to be busy again in the transfer window at the end of the season as they desperately try to back Liam Rosenior.
The Blues are insistent they will not part ways with Rosenior, despite the fact they look set to struggle to qualify for the Champions League with him in charge of the club.
The Chelsea owners were impressed with the manager’s handling of the Enzo Fernandez saga, even if it meant the Blues were missing one of their best players for the game against Manchester City.

Chelsea are expected to make move to sign Anthony Gordon
New wingers should be high on Chelsea’s agenda for the summer, with one player looking primed to leave being Anthony Gordon.
Newcastle are expected to need to make a big sale following their own poor campaign, and according to FlashScore, Chelsea are likely to enter the race for the winger this summer.

The report also goes on to say that Arsenal and Bayern Munich are very much interested in signing him, although are likely to have to pay £80m to get that deal over the line.
Chelsea supporters got an up-close view of how good Gordon is when he scored the only goal of Newcastle’s victory over the Blues at Stamford Bridge last month.

Gordon compared to Chelsea’s current wingers
The England international sits on 17 goals in all competitions so far this season, heavily bolstered by his excellent numbers in the Champions League.
This tally is far higher than any of the current Chelsea wingers. Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens have just one Premier League goal between them since joining the club.
Chelsea have also been accused of not adding ready-made Premier League talent to their squad enough in recent years, and Gordon coming in would certainly rectify that after his successful time at both Newcastle and Everton.
These are exactly the kind of transfers the Chelsea owners need to be getting themselves involved in, as they continue to lose the faith of the supporters.
