Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund are reportedly still keen on a potential summer deal for Arsenal attacker Ethan Nwaneri.

The 19-year-old youngster was sent out on loan to Ligue 1 side Marseille during the January transfer window, with Arsenal keen for him to get regular first-team minutes.

It is widely expected that Nwaneri will return to Arsenal this summer, but his long-term future remains uncertain.

Now, an update on his situation has emerged.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund remain interested in signing Nwaneri ahead of next season.

It is understood that multiple other clubs across Europe are also closely monitoring the Englishman’s situation.

However, Arsenal have not yet made a final decision on Nwaneri’s future, with talks between the parties set to take place at the end of the season.

Previous reports have suggested that the Gunners are willing to listen to offers for the Hale End wonderkid, with the club aiming to raise significant funds through player sales this summer.

Another Hale End product, Myles Lewis-Skelly, is also expected to be available on the market this summer after falling down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta this season.

It is believed Arsenal are hopeful of selling Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly for a combined fee of around £100m.
