Gary Neville’s production company The Overlap has acquired football influencer and content creator Mark Goldbridge’s YouTube channels The United Stand and That’s Football.
As the name implies, The United Stand is a Manchester United-focused show that features Goldbridge’s live reactions and analysis of United matches. It has 2.26m subscribers.
That’s Football looks at the game more generally, and adds a further 1.46m subscribers to Goldridge’s fan club.
The deal also includes all other social media platforms linked to The United Stand and That’s Football.
Across TikTok, Instagram, X and Facebook, the United Stand has a combined 4.4m followers, while That’s Football has nearly 350,000.
The Overlap’s YouTube channel has 1.66 million subscribers and its content includes its flagship show Stick to Football, which features Neville and fellow pundits Roy Keane, Jamie Carragher, Jill Scott and Ian Wright discussing football matters.

The deal comes three months after media giant Global, home of radio stations including Capital and Heart, a massive OOH operation, and many more media, production and entertainment activities around the world, took a majority stake in The Overlap, promising to support The Overlap’s ambition to build a multi-format sports media network.
Neville, who is The Overlap’s executive director, said: “Today we can announce that The Overlap has acquired The United Stand and That’s Football.
“I recently shared with you our plans to build The Overlap Network – an extensive global non-live independent football platform and this is the first step in that vision.
“The United Stand and That’s Football are two of the best-known football channels on YouTube, and we want to to develop them into the most compelling Manchester United and football news channels there is.
“We’re excited about what we can do from here and can’t wait to bring our vision to life.
“Thank you to everyone for their support on this journey so far”
The Overlap added that Goldbridge’s channels will undergo “significant editorial expansion” under their ownership, including a new Stick to United strand featuring former players and journalists, alongside a daily news show called Daily United.
Goldbridge, whose real name is Brent di Cesare, said: “I’ve spent the last 10 years building The United Stand for Manchester United fans and That’s Football for all fans, and I’m prouder of that than anything I’ve ever done.
“This deal is about what comes next. The Overlap has the ambition, the credibility, and the resources to help me take what I do to the next level.”
