Should Ethan Nwaneri stay at Arsenal?

Ethan Nwaneri and left back Myles Lewis-Skelly got into the senior team at a very young age. They were not mere young debutants. The duo after a certain time, cemented their position in the team. Surprisingly, they were selected by Mikel Arteta in the main team for big matches a lot of times. They have recorded a number of senior team appearances already at such a young age.

But now, the scenario has changed a lot. For some causes, Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly have fallen down in the pecking order. The young left back has been replaced by the new signings. Currently, it feels like Ethan deserves more chances once he returns to England. The 19-year-old can play at several positions. His versatility can give him the entry into the first team again. He can play as an attacking midfielder and a winger. Martin Odegaard’s form is not that good. The midfielder has suffered with fitness issues.

Starboy Bukayo Saka has been out of his best form. Nwaneri can be a good replacement for them and has the potential to be an upgrade. Due to profit and sustainability rules, Arsenal may sell their academy graduates for pure profits. But a major section of fans may get disappointed by such decision.
