Chelsea’s continued search for a new left-sided attacker has cast serious doubt over Alejandro Garnacho’s future at Stamford Bridge, with the club reportedly sharing the fans’ growing skepticism.
Alejandro Garnacho has virtually disappeared from Liam Rosenior’s plans. Across Chelsea’s last five competitive outings, the Argentine has failed to register a single goal or assist, looking increasingly like a passenger in a system that demands relentless output.
And his anonymous display against Manchester City served as even more of a breaking point.
We have already seen links to players like Morgan Rogers, who can operate on the left, as well as the imminent arrival of Geovany Quenda.
So it may well be curtains for Garnacho already this summer.

Chelsea have been left unconvinced by Alejandro Garnacho
According to Matt Law, the fact that Chelsea are still looking for a forward who can play off the left suggests the club is just as unconvinced by Garnacho as the Stamford Bridge fans.
Despite the uncertain future, Garnacho has been classy about his time at Chelsea and still feels happy at the club after leaving Manchester United.
“The life here [at Chelsea] is normal, and I’m happy.
“But yeah, at United have nothing wrong to say about the club or any teammates, no one. Just a moment on life changed. My life continued. So we have to keep looking forward.”

Why Alejandro Garnacho is failing at Chelsea
Alejandro Garnacho’s decline at Chelsea is ultimately due to a lack of end product. A return of just one Premier League goal is nowhere near the standard we should be expecting.
A lot of the time, it’s the decision-making too, deciding to go down and try to win a free-kick rather than staying on his feet and looking for teammates.
And the most frustrating part is that Pedro Neto hasn’t been amazing either, so there’s been plenty of opportunity for him to stake his claim.
