Following a quiet January, the Blues are expected to be busy this summer with a number of positions needing to be addressed.

Chelsea are said to still be in the market for a centre back, whilst they are thought to want to add another midfielder and attacker.

It’s been reported the Blues are open to signing players with Premier League experience this summer, but given fans have heard this before they remain sceptical.

It’s thought a new midfielder remains a priority, with Chelsea said to want to ease the burden on Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez.

However, with major doubts over Fernandez’s future Chelsea could well need a replacement for the World Cup winner.

The Blues are said to have agreed a deal for Strasbourg midfielder Valentin Barco, and TEAMtalk have now reported that Chelsea are monitoring Miley.

The report adds the Blues view him as one of the most promising young midfielders in English football, with Arsenal and Manchester United also interested.

Miley has made 31 appearances in all competitions for the Magpies this season, scoring three goals and registering four assists, whilst he’s under contract until 2029.
