Geovany Quenda has already made different request to Estevao Willian ahead of Chelsea debut

After the strong start to life at Stamford Bridge for Estevao Willian, Chelsea fans can begin to get excited about the incoming addition of Geovany Quenda.

The Blues spent big money on Quenda, who was enjoying a fine personal season before an injury ruled him out of action for a number of months.

The youngster completed his rehab at Chelsea, and is now ready to return to the Champions League with an attempt to pile more misery on Arsenal in the quarter-finals.

Geovany Quenda happy to play any position for Chelsea

The prospect of both Estevao and Quenda in the same attack is extremely exciting, however the Portuguese star is seemingly far more open with his role in the side than the Brazil international was.

According to BBC Sport, Quenda is willing to play in any position when he arrives at Stamford Bridge in order to reach his full potential.

This differs greatly to when Estevao joined the club. Reports at the time suggested that the Brazil star sought assurances over playing in the number 10 role when he is an established star.

So far, the youngster has hardly featured in that role. Even out of form, it has proven difficult to displace Cole Palmer from the squad.

Given the potential Estevao has, Chelsea will do well to honour any assurances they gave him when he joined the club, especially with major clubs upset they missed out on his signing originally.

Where Chelsea want to play Quenda

For Sporting, Quenda has mostly been used on the right of attack, although the Blues have a different plan ahead of his arrival in West London.

Chelsea reportedly want to use Quenda on the left, a position that no one in the current squad has been able to nail down as of yet this season.

The Blues signed Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens over the summer. The pair have just one Premier League goal combined since their arrivals.

It feels as if the Blues need to add a new option to their ranks, and it will be a real boost if Quenda is ready to contribute straight away.
