Manchester United defender Harry Maguire will miss the weekend clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge after his FA charge was upheld, according to The Athletic.
The England international was given his marching orders for the denial of a goalscoring opportunity against Bournemouth prior to the international break, as the Cherries held United to a 2-2 draw, which saw him miss the defeat to Leeds at Old Trafford on Monday night.
But Maguire was slapped with an FA charge for misconduct after it was decided that he swore at the fourth official Matt Donohue following the red card, and he will now seve another suspension as a result.

According to The Athletic journalist Laurie Whitwell, Man Utd have now been informed that Maguire will receive an additional one-game ban after the charge from the FA was upheld, meaning he will be absent for the trip to Stamford Bridge.
He will now join Lisandro Martinez on the sidelines for the game, after the Argentine was handed a straight red card against Leeds for violent conduct, as he was deemed to have pulled the hair of striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin during a tussle on the halfway line in the second half.
That could now see Man Utd forced to pair youngsters Leny Yoro and Ayden Heaven together as a centre-back pairing for the first time, with experienced defender Matthijs De Ligt having been ruled out with a back injury since November.
United are planning to appeal the decision to send Martinez off, but there is an acceptance that it is highly unlikely to be overturned due to the nature of the incident. There is a view that he could see his three-game ban reduced, but this is also unlikely.
