How to watch Arsenal vs Sporting CP
Kick-off time: The match is officially scheduled to kick off at 8pm on Wednesday evening. Fans should be ready for the start of the action as Mikel Arteta’s side looks to defend their narrow lead and secure a place in the semi-final.
Match location: The game will take place at the Emirates Stadium, the state-of-the-art home of Arsenal Football Club. The atmosphere is expected to be incredibly intense as the home support looks to roar their team toward their first Champions League semi-final in over 15 years.
UK TV channel : Live coverage will be broadcast on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate. The official broadcast coverage begins at 7pm, giving viewers an hour of pre-match analysis and team news before the game begins.
Live stream information: TNT Sports is no longer streamed on the discovery+ app. Instead, viewers must download the HBO Max app and sign in.
United States broadcast: Viewers in the United States can watch the game live on Paramount+, which holds the primary English-language rights for the competition. The match will start at 3pm ET or 12pm PT, and it will also be available in Spanish on the streaming service ViX.
UK radio coverage: Live national radio commentary will be provided by BBC Radio 5 Live across the United Kingdom. Local coverage and fan-focused audio commentary can also be accessed through the official Arsenal app and the club's website for those who prefer to listen.
Team news: Arsenal are expected to be without captain Martin Odegaard due to a recurring calf issue, meaning Leandro Trossard could start in a more creative role. Sporting CP will be boosted by the return of their leading scorer, who missed the first leg due to suspension and will be fresh for the trip to London.
Head-to-head record: These two teams have shared a competitive history in European competition, most notably their dramatic 2023 Europa League encounter where Sporting progressed on penalties. However, Arsenal’s recent 1-0 victory in the first leg of this tie gives them the edge as they return to home turf.
Tie permutations: Because the away goals rule is no longer in effect, any one-goal victory for Sporting CP at the end of ninety minutes will send the tie directly into extra time. If the aggregate score remains level after thirty minutes of extra time, a penalty shootout will determine which team advances to the final four.
