West Ham trio Jarrod Bowen, Mateus Fernandes and Crysencio Summerville could be the subject of bids from Chelsea if the Hammers are relegated, according to reports.
Writing on his Substack, journalist Simon Phillips named the trio as potential targets for the Blues, who will be looking to exploit the situation if Nuno Espirito Santo’s side don’t avoid the drop.

While it is not a shock that either Fernandes or Summerville are being considered as potential targets due to their age and form this season, the interest in Bowen is more surprising.
The 29-year-old is well beyond the age bracket that the Irons’ London rivals usually target, but it appears they will make an exception if the player is available for a lower price.
Fernandes may be kept even if the club is relegated
As well as Chelsea, the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City have been credited with an interest in the Portuguese international over the past few weeks.
However, reports suggest that West Ham will establish a hardline stance on selling Fernandes. They deem him a key player for the future, and while other stars could be sold in the event of relegation, the 21-year-old will stay put.

West Ham are out of the drop zone
The emphatic win over Wolves last Friday and Tottenham’s defeat to Sunderland mean that the two sides have now swapped places.
Nuno’s team are sitting in 17th, two points above Spurs in the Premier League table with six matches remaining.
While they are by no means safe yet, their performances in recent weeks mean the momentum is very much with them. If they do get out of trouble, there will be no consideration given to selling the likes of Bowen, Fernandes or Summerville.
