Barcelona have yet to decide on Marcus Rashford’s future ahead of a deadline set in June.
After falling out of favour under Ruben Amorim, Marcus Rashford was sent on loan for a second time in the summer.
Rashford completed a temporary move to Barcelona, but has been aiming to make the deal permanent ever since.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta wants to keep Rashford, but they must make the deal work financially before committing to it.

Barcelona’s Marcus Rashford’s deadline
Contrary to reports elsewhere, Barcelona’s deadline to activate their option to sign Rashford on a permanent deal worth £26 million has not expired.
Rashford was criticised by Spanish media following Barcelona’s Champions League elimination at the hands of La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.
It is understood that Barcelona wanted to drive down the £26m purchase option, but United are likely to hold out for that fee with the belief that Rashford’s valuation has soared since his move abroad.

According to BBC Sport, Barcelona have until 15 June to decide on whether they want to sign Rashford on a permanent deal or not.
The report adds that “most expect it to happen,” despite United’s unwillingness to negotiate over the details that were discussed last year.
Rashford will want his future decided before that date because England will start their 2026 World Cup campaign two days later against Croatia.
It wouldn’t come as a big surprise if Barcelona try to move the deadline back, if they need to balance the books by selling players to fund the deal.
