Aston Villa will charge supporters Category 2 prices for their Europa League semi-final second leg against Nottingham Forest.

The club has decided to reduce ticket prices, with the quarter-final match against Bologna listed as Category 1.

Villa also charged supporters Category 2 prices for the round of 16 second leg against Lille, which Unai Emery’s side won 3–0.

Villa’s president of business operations, Francesco Calvo, made the decision after listening to supporters’ concerns following backlash over the increased prices for the quarter-final.

There were 37,583 fans inside Villa Park for the match against Lille, yet Villa raised ticket prices for the following round, a move that was met with anger from the fanbase.

Despite attendance increasing to 41,662 for the quarter-final second leg, Villa have now reduced prices back to Category 2.
