Liam Rosenior reflected on the preparations for a clash against Manchester United.
**Chelsea**crashed out of the **Champions League**Round of 16 in a miserable March that also featured a 1-0 loss to Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge and a 3-0 beatdown against **Everton**at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. The 7-0 thrashing of Port Vale secured a semi-final spot in the FA Cup, but there was a much bigger item on the agenda.
'In this moment, you find out about yourself'
A 3-0 defeat against Manchester City continued the downward trend, and the Blues are battling on the back foot to find a qualifying place for the top tier continental competition.
"We have to take advantage of this moment. We're running out of time. We need to show that initiative on Saturday evening. We need to play on the front foot, and we need to make up those points, which is still definitely possible.
"We've had a lot of really strong conversations as a group. We've had some very good training sessions. I think in this moment you find out about yourself, you find out about your group, and you have to stay focused on the process, which is here, the day in day out.
“Enzo Fernandez* has been with the group and has been training very well. It is business as usual in terms of selection for the game. Enzo has come back to the group this week, and the group has been fantastic. In terms of his training, his application to training, Enzo has been fantastic as well.*
“Trevoh Chalobah* trained today. Not quite fully: it was modified training. We'll make a decision on him, but he's very, very close. Reece James is a little bit further away.*
“I'm hoping [we'll see **Levi Colwill* before the end of the season] as Levi is an outstanding player and a leader in the dressing room. He will play with the Under-21s tomorrow, which is fantastic for him. When you have a long-term injury, to the extent of Levi’s injury, you need a long rehab period. I want to ensure he is 100 per cent right in terms of match fitness before we consider him for our first team.”*
