When Newcastle United sporting director Ross Wilson held a briefing with journalists in December, there were two players he insisted were at the top of his priority list when it came to new contracts.
One of those players was Sven Botman, who penned a new deal with the club earlier this year to extend his stay at St James' Park until the summer of 2030.
And the other was Tino Livramento, whose current terms on Tyneside expire in the summer of 2028, but there has not been a similar breakthrough yet in discussions over the 23-year-old's future.
As such, that has invited interest from the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City, with CEO David Hopkinson admitting Newcastle may sell one of their star players this summer, although he insists they will do so on their terms.

Sandro Tonali, Anthony Gordon, Bruno Guimaraes and Lewis Hall are also attracting admiring glances from elsewhere but Livramento, given his situation, feels as prime a candidate as any to be the player who could end up leaving to help fund the summer rebuild.
That said, with Kieran Trippier announcing he will leave the club this summer at the end of his contract, the Magpies are already in search of a new right-back and selling Livramento would mean two would have to come through the door this summer.
With Newcastle also needing to sign a goalkeeper, left-back, midfielder and a forward before thinking about replacing any further departures, it is an extra recruitment headache they could do without.
And they could well have been handed a reprieve with Man City said to be sounding out alternative options at right-back, with Newcastle set to demand a huge fee to part with Livramento.
Feyenoord's teenage right-back Givairo Read is a player they are monitoring, according to Sky Sports, who broke into the Rotterdam side's first team last season.

He has missed a large chunk of this season with a hamstring injury but the Dutch under-21 international is hopeful of returning to action imminently in the hope of ending the season strongly.
If he does so, City could make their move with German giants Bayern Munich also credited with an interest.
Any move for an alternative right-back at the Etihad Stadium would most likely be welcomed on Tyneside as they set about their rebuild this summer.
