Arsenal are eyeing a move to sign Celta Vigo star Oscar Mingueza as a potential replacement for Ben White this summer, according to The Telegraph.
The Gunners have had a fantastic season so far and are on the brink of securing their first Premier League title since 2004, as they sit six points clear of Man City with six games remaining of the campaign, while they are also in the semi-finals of the Champions League, where they will face off against Atletico Madrid.
But there are expected to be several changes within the squad during the upcoming summer window, as Mikel Arteta looks to refresh the team, and there are checks being done on some defensive reinforcements once again.

Mingueza, who has been described as 'phenomenal', has enjoyed a fine spell at Celta in recent years and is expected to depart the La Liga club when his contract expires this summer.
The 26-year-old recently signed with a new agency, Unique Sports Group, which is based in the UK, and that has raised speculation that he could be preparing for a move to the Premier League, with a number of clubs understood to be showing an interest.
Arsenal are understood to be one of those clubs, as they begin their plan to identify potential replacements for Ben White, who earns £150,000-a-week, and is expected to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer following a season of limited game time and strong interest from Everton.
Mingueza is also capable of playing in both full-back positions, which is another reason why the Gunners are showing an interest in his services, although Arsenal are understood to be eyeing up a number of alternative options too, including Newcastle star Tino Livramento.

Arsenal are expected to target a new central midfielder and forward during the window, but departures are also believed to be right at the top of the agenda this time around.
White is likely to move on, and there are also question marks about the future of Myles Lewis-Skelly, which opens up a spot in both full-back positions too, while White's ability to play at centre-back would also need covering, which Mingueza can do.
By bringing him in on a free transfer, Arsenal would save a big chunk of their budget to put towards other key areas, while still ensuring they have quality options to call upon all over the pitch whenever necessary.
