Strikers coach Bobby Zamora and former Prem goal-getter Glenn Murray both believe the 21-year-old’s footballing intelligence is a great asset for the team.
Hinshelwood has yet to score from the No.10 role but has combined effectively with Danny Welbeck.
He now prepares to return to the stadium where he netted twice last season in a 4-1 win as the Seagulls visit Spurs tomorrow (5.30pm).
Zamora told The Argus: “Jack, obviously now he is fit and he is getting more minutes on the pitch, has come so close and obviously missed that opportunity (at home to Liverpool), which was a little bit upsetting.
“But he certainly makes the runs, probably the best out of everybody in there in terms of getting in really with conviction.
“He's a very, very clever player. Intelligent, can read the picture, can read what's happening, what's going happen.
“He makes the best runs, I think, for Danny as well.
“And those two are combining together in terms of communicating when the ball's out wide.
“Jack's a good talent and I can see, you know, if he would continue on this squad and this next few games, I can see Jack coming up with one or two goals for sure.”
Murray backed Zamora’s verdict and said of Hinshelwood: “He has got a good football IQ.”
Hinshelwood was given his Prem debut by current Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi.
He is again expected to start in support of Welbeck in attack.
Lewis Dunk remains suspended, with Olivier Boscagli again expected to start at the back.
James Milner also missed the 2-0 win at Burnley with what was said to be a minor injury suffered in training.
Head coach Fabian Hurzeler was non-committal as to for how long Milner will be absent but he will update on his squad from 9am on Friday.
