Everything Eddie Howe said ahead of Newcastle United’s Premier League clash against AFC Bournemouth.

Howe is expected to face more questions on his future after the Magpies’ Premier League season hit another low with a 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace last weekend.

It was another match in which Howe’s side took the lead, only to lose. They’ve dropped a staggering 25 points from winning positions in the Premier League this season.

With six matches left to play, Newcastle sit 14th in the Premier League and 10 points behind the Champions League places and five below the top seven.

The summer transfer window is also set to come under focus with fresh reports surrounding the future of Anthony Gordon. Sandro Tonali and Tino Livramento continue to be linked with exits.

Fabian Schar remains injured and Joelinton is suspended for the next two matches, but it is hoped better news will be provided on Bruno Guimaraes.

The Brazilian hasn’t featured since the 2-1 win away to Tottenham Hotspur in February and while Howe said last week his captain is a doubt for the Bournemouth game, he is indeed closing in on a return.

Howe’s quotes are under embargo until 9:30am.
