Aston Villa keen on youngster

Two months ago, Sport Witness covered claims from Germany that West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion are in the picture to sign Noel Aseko.

Fast forward to April and Sky Deutschland now report Aston Villa have joined the transfer chase.

Their title reads: ‘Bayern Munich talent Noel Aseko in high demand – Roma, Brighton & Aston Villa interested’.

Sky state several clubs have already expressed interest in the Germany U21 international and the Villans would be in this list.

The Serie A side, for their part, have made a concrete enquiry, and have to tussle with Unai Emery’s side and Brighton to secure his services. In addition to these clubs, Eintracht Frankfurt also express interest in the youngster.

Aseko will return to Bayern Munich after the season and do a pre-season under Vincent Kompany. As things stand, his future at the Allianz Arena remains open.

In the event of a sale, the Bavarian club would be looking for a fee of around €10-12m, which should be affordable for Aston Villa.

Contract, value and agent info

Noel Aseko’s contract at Bayern Munich is until 2028 and Transfermarkt now value him at €8m.

Rummenigge Sport Marketing GmbH, owned by agent Roman Rummenigge, are taking care of his interest.

With Roma already making a concrete approach, Aston Villa must act quickly to convince both the player and the German champions.
