"The same" - Karl Darlow fires big Leeds United warning with Man Utd and Wolves comparison…

Leeds United now have just six games left in their quest for Premier League survival.

Whites keeper Karl Darlow has fired a big Leeds United warning ahead of Saturday’s visit of the Premier League’s bottom-placed side Wolves after the elation of Monday night’s historic win at Old Trafford.

Several big saves from Darlow between the sticks helped Leeds to a huge 2-1 victory at the club’s fierce rivals Manchester United on Monday for a triumph that booted Daniel Farke’s side six points clear of the dropzone with just six games left.

Having just beaten the division’s third-placed side in their own back yard, a very different test now awaits at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon as Leeds take on bottom-of-the-table Wolves who are 15 points from safety and could be officially relegated this weekend.

Darlow, though, insists Saturday’s visitors must be afforded the same respect as their highflying hosts in Monday night’s Roses derby at Old Trafford, the Whites keeper highlighting Wolves’ capabilities and especially with their general recent improvement in mind.

The Leeds keeper says the team have four or five different talents that his men are particularly wary of and has also warned that Leeds themselves have as yet achieved “nothing” despite sitting six points clear of the dropzone.

"We know we need to be straight back at it on Saturday and that's the mentality that we have to have.

"We know nothing is done yet, we have not achieved anything yet.

"Yeah we have had a really special night on Monday which we have enjoyed for a couple of days.

"Now it's business time again and we know we have to get back on with it and hopefully secure another three points."

Leeds were seen as big underdogs for Monday night’s clash at Old Trafford against a side still sat third in the table but the boot is now on other foot with Darlow’s side massive favourites to see off Wolves. Darlow, though, says that changes nothing.

"Not for me,” said the Whites stopper asked if being favourites changed anything in his mind.

"I think we know every Premier League fixture is difficult, no matter who you are playing.

"So the same respect and the same concentration on Wolves as what we did Manchester United.

"We know they have got real good quality in individuals and they have got four or five different talents that we know, probably more so in recent weeks where they have had upsets or pulled out results where you thought they might not get them.

"It's just concentrating on what we have to do and how we can go about winning the game."
