Spurs in 'advanced talks' to sign Senesi in summer - if they stay in Premier League

The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports that the north London club are the leading contender to sign Senesi, who has decided against signing a new deal on the south coast.

Senesi’s options remain open, though, with uncertainty around whether Spurs will be in the top flight next term.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side currently sit 18th and in the relegation zone, two points adrift from safety with six games to play.

Any deal to sign Senesi would be contingent on them staying in the Premier League, Ornstein reports.

The Argentine centre back signed from Feyenoord for £10.5million in 2022, and he will have his sights set on securing a spot in the Argentina squad for the upcoming World Cup.
