Leading football journalist David Ornstein has cast significant doubt over growing speculation linking Arsenal with a summer move for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, stating there is “no chance” of a deal materialising in the upcoming transfer window.
Reports in recent weeks had suggested that Arsenal were monitoring the situation of the Georgian winger, who has emerged as one of Europe’s most exciting attacking talents following his performances for Paris Saint-Germain. However, Ornstein has moved to shut down those rumours, indicating that neither ARSENAL nor any other club is likely to secure his signature this summer.
Speaking about the situation, Ornstein stressed that PSG have no intention of parting ways with Kvaratskhelia so soon after bringing him into the club’s long-term project. The French champions view the 25-year-old as a central figure in their attacking setup and are not entertaining offers, regardless of the level of interest from abroad.
Kvaratskhelia’s stock has continued to rise following a string of standout performances at both club and international level. Known for his dribbling ability, creativity, and composure in the final third, he has attracted admiration from several top European sides. “Everyone loves Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but I fully expect him to stay at PSG,” he wrote.
“He seems extremely happy there, and they are certainly extremely happy with him. I don’t think Arsenal or anyone else has a chance at the moment.”
From *ARSENAL*’s perspective, the update may prompt a shift in focus toward more attainable targets. While the club has shown ambition in recent transfer windows, pursuing a player deemed unavailable would not align with their typically strategic approach to recruitment.

Unless there is a dramatic and unforeseen change in circumstances, Kvaratskhelia is expected to remain in Paris for the foreseeable future.
