Boss wants players and fans to refocus after Europa League triumph.
Unai Emery has called on supporters to once more bring the noise as Villa aim to take another big step toward a top-five Premier League finish.
Villa host Sunderland on Sunday with the boss urging full focus following the high of Thursday’s emphatic Europa League win over Bologna.
Emery’s men will now face Nottingham Forest in a two-legged semi-final tie but it is the Premier League which remains his priority, with the Spaniard saying every match is “special” across the final run-in.
Villa enter the weekend holding a seven-point cushion in the race for Champions League football, with just six matches remaining.
Emery said: “We are playing at home, in Villa Park, feeling again comfortable and confident, winning matches after we were not winning.
“Sunday is a fantastic day. I am motivated and excited with the team.
“Of course, we will need energy again, trying to connect with the supporters to play a special match as well.
“Now, each match is special. Each match is three points and three points at the end of the season is wow, something we must appreciate a lot.”
Emery knows the Mackems will provide a stern test after holding Villa to a 1-1 draw in September’s reverse fixture.
That match marked one of the lowest points of Emery’s reign, with the boss later branding his players “lazy” ahead of a remarkable revival.
Emery said: “We can remember the match we played in Sunderland. We were struggling in that moment.
“We were not winning matches. It was a tough, tough match. They were so, so intense.
“Their progression in the league has been fantastic because they are fighting for a European position and are close to us.”
Villa have confirmed reduced ticket prices for next month’s semi-final second leg against Forest.
Adults will pay between £55 and £67 to attend, a reduction of £10 on the prices charged for the quarter-final with Bologna.
