Chelsea vs Man United: Preview, Prediction, Kick-Off Time, Where to Watch– EPL 25/26

Chelsea host Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday night, which could add another dramatic twist to the race for a Champions League spot. The Blues, led by Liam Rosenior, are having a terrible run of form currently. Their only win in the last few games was against Port Vale in the FA Cup quarter-finals. They have fallen to sixth place in the Premier League after a string of bad results, and they are now four points behind the Champions League spots as the season comes to an end.

Rosenior’s first season in the Stamford Bridge dugout has been made even harder by a humiliating 3-0 loss away at Manchester City last time out. Meanwhile, fans unhappy with the club’s ownership are reportedly planning to protest outside the stadium before the game. Michael Carrick’s Manchester United are in third place with 55 points, but they lost 2-1 at home to Leeds in their last game.

Date, time, and place of the game: The contest will start at 8pm BST on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Stamford Bridge in west London.

Where to see: TNT Sports 1 will show the game live in the UK, starting at 7pm BST. People who have TNT can also watch the clash online through the discovery+ app and website.

Chelsea Team News

Liam Rosenior has got a nice boost in the Blues’ fitness levels, as Levi Colwill and Trevoh Chalobah have both come back to the training ground as they get closer to being fully fit. Colwill has been out since August with a knee injury, but he is expected to play for the Under-21s this week. He is not likely to play against the Red Devils.

Chalobah might be able to play in the senior matchday squad again after recovering from the ankle injury he got during the Champions League last-16 tie against Paris Saint-Germain on March 17. Before the weekend, the Chelsea manager gave a cautious but hopeful update on his returning centre-back:

“Trevoh trained today, not quite fully, modified and we’ll make a decision on him.”

Rosenior still has to make plans without Reece James, who has been out since injuring his hamstring against Newcastle United in March. Jamie Gittens and Filip Jorgensen are also still out as the Blues head into this important part of the season.
