Chelsea might sell Alejandro Garnacho during this year’s transfer window. They recently acquired him from Manchester United, where he was purchased around £40 million last summer. Now, reports say the club may let him leave if good offers come in. Chelsea’s new manager, Liam Rosenior, has some doubts about him.
The Career of Garnacho at Chelsea
Garnacho came to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2025. He was seen as a bright, fast attacker with big potential. At just 21 years old, he had already shown his skill at Manchester United and played for Argentina. But his first season at Chelsea has been nothing more than an average football performance. He has played in many games and scored eight goals in all competitions.
However, he has only scored once in the Premier League. He has not become a regular starter, and some supporters feel he has not lived up to the big price tag yet. Liam Rosenior took over as Chelsea manager in January 2026 and since then, he has given Garnacho only a few starts in the league. He often picks other players, like Pedro Neto, for the left side.
