Liam Rosenior has made it clear that Chelsea are falling behind in the race for a Champions League spot. The west London club has managed just one win in their last seven Premier League matches. That is a run that has lost belief and left them in doubt at the worst possible time of the season.

The PL clash against Man United is being seen as a big event of the season. As per reports, Rosenior made his thoughts clear, he said, “As the season goes on, the less games you have left, the more important the games become. We have to take advantage of this moment. We’re running out of time.”
Chelsea’s home form has also dipped at a critical stage. In addition, losing heavily to Man City in front of their own fans has only made it worse. The frustration has grown over the past few years under the current ownership.
If results do not go their way this weekend, the west London side could find themselves in shambles. That will likely take them out of the race to earn a UCL spot before the final spell of the campaign even begins.

Fans unhappy as long term vision comes under question
The issues surrounding Chelsea are no longer limited to results on their football results. The issues between the fans and the club’s ownership continues to grow. Our job, my job, is to produce those results in the long term.” While that message may sound reasonable, fans are demanding instant improvement. This comes especially with the team at risk of finishing lower than previous seasons under the same ownership.

This phase is even more difficult by how small mistakes have turned into losing costly points. The manager pointed out that errors in focus have been a big issue. That has often been the case for the past few weeks.
In addition, that is affecting the entire performance of the team. So, fixing those details quickly is now very vital. Because there is no longer time for slow improvement. The next few games of Chelsea will decide whether they can still fight for a UCL place or drift into another poor finish.
