There may have been plenty of speculation surrounding West Ham over the past couple of days, but Nuno Espírito Santo is clearly not interested.
Instead, the Hammers boss struck a positive tone ahead of Monday night’s crucial game against Crystal Palace, focusing on preparation rather than outside noise.
Nuno keeps focus on the job
“It’s been good. We’re working hard, the atmosphere is good and we’re focused and getting ready for Monday. I don’t think there is a risk of complacency. It’s positive after a good performance. It helps in terms of preparation.”
Momentum building at the right time
It follows what has been described as a strong week on the training ground after the 4-0 win against Wolves.
That was echoed earlier in the week by West Ham ITK ExWHUEmployee, who spoke about “positive vibes” at Rush Green — hardly surprising given the result on Friday.

Leaders stepping up
Nuno also stressed the importance of leadership within the squad as the season reaches its defining stage.
“We still have six games to go. A lot of work to do. It is the biggest challenge ahead of us. To sustain our level of performance. It is good that we have leaders like Jarrod Bowen, but all the players need to be leaders.”
