Peterborough United are a million pounds better off after Coventry City clinched promotion to the Premier League on Friday night.
Posh sold winger Ephron Mason-Clark to the Sky Blues for £4.25 million in January, 2024 and inserted a £1 million bonus clause should his new club win promotion from the Championship.
And tonight Coventry clinched that promotion with a 1-1 draw at Blackburn Rovers courtesy of a late Bobby Thomas equaliser. Mason-Clark played 90 minutes before he was substituted. The 26 year-old has made 39 Championship appearances this season, scoring seven goals.
