Eddie Howe’s side come into the game off the back of two defeats, with the former Cherries boss under some pressure in the north east.
Those two defeats, to Crystal Palace and Sunderland, have both been late losses for Newcastle, and it those two results that make them “more dangerous”, the boss said.

“I think for us it's a very difficult moment to face Newcastle,” he explained.
“Because it's true that they've lost the last two games. They were coming from good wins also before this, and they've lost both games in the last minute.

“Sometimes football is like this, because you lost two games in the last minute, now they are not good.
“They are incredibly good. I've even checked the bets about the game, because sometimes you feel like, because we beat Arsenal - but they are clear favourites.
“It's like, if you think it's going to be easy, go put some money there, but it's going to be very difficult for us to win that game.
“We know the atmosphere there in St. James' Park. For them, after two defeats, it makes them even more dangerous.

“They always are a team that starts the game super energetic. They put pressure on you. I remember all the games there, first 10 minutes, not only our games, every game you watch on TV, first 15, 20 minutes, it's difficult to survive there and we have to be ready for that moment.
“It's true that I think we are in a good place. We played really well against Arsenal but I think the kind of game is going to be very, very different.
“I think Newcastle is a lot different from Arsenal. The demands of the game are going to be a lot different and I hope we are ready for those demands.”
Newcastle top the league for the most points dropped from a winning position, but Iraola said he doesn’t read too much into that.
“I think it's a matter of the way they play,” he said.

“It happens to us also. I think we are fourth or fifth also, and we are third in recovering points from losing positions also.
“We are teams that play quite open. In the cup game, could be a reference, we finished 3-3. We were losing, we were winning, we were losing, drawing.
“When you play kind of open games, you have to accept this. And in our games, probably to score the first goal is always very important, but it's not as important as in other teams that you concede first and say, "impossible we get something from here."
“And with Newcastle, I think it's very similar. I think is they play quite open, they play with spaces, they are a transitional team, and normally in those games more things happen in the games.”
