Coverage details as Leeds United face the Premier League’s bottom side Wolves at Elland Road today.
Leeds United host Wolves in another huge clash in the club’s Premier League survival bid today - but is the game on TV?
The Whites are now nine points ahead of third-bottom Tottenham Hotspur who must wait until 5.30pm today before hosting Brighton in a game being broadcast on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra HDR.
Fourth-bottom West Ham, meanwhile, who are now four points adrift of Leeds, don’t play until Monday night when they face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in Sky’s Monday Night Football Match.
Main three rivals all face waiting game
Completing the triumvirate of key rivals playing after Leeds, fifth-bottom Nottingham Forest who are three points behind the Whites host second-bottom Burnley on Sunday in a 2pm kick-off being shown on Sky Sports Plus and Sky Sports Ultra HDR.
It all means that this afternoon’s hosting of rock-bottom Wolves offers United a huge chance to steal another march on their rivals but today’s 3pm kick-off is not being televised.
The game is one of just two Premier League games this weekend not on TV, the other being today’s only other 3pm kick-off in the country’s top flight between Newcastle United and Bournemouth at St James’ Park.
Wolves, who have just 17 points, are 15 points adrift of safety and could be officially relegated this weekend or even this evening.
Defeat at Leeds would leave 32 points as their highest possible tally and fourth-bottom West Ham already sit on 32 points themselves.
Third-bottom Spurs have 30 points but victory against Brighton this evening would put them on 33 meaning Wolves would be officially relegated should they lose at Leeds and Tottenham beat Brighton.
