GdS: Lewandowski, Kean, Jackson, Jesus – Milan striker shortlist includes eight names

It is almost a certainty that AC Milan will sign a striker this summer. However, the names suggested are not all of the same level, unfortunately.

As the summer mercato edges closer, Milan need to start making their choices certainties. Indeed, a proper plan is needed and a lunch between Massimiliano Allegri and Giorgio Furlani at Milanello yesterday is a nice start.

Gabriel Jesus, Nicholas Jackson and Joshua Zirkzee follow. The trio are likely to move away from their Premier League top six homes in the summer and the Diavolo could smell a deal for one of them. The latter duo still have plenty of room for growth and could be better fits for Allegri’s system.

Gonzalo Garcia would be a different investment for the club. A youngster with the need for space to grow, he would fit the RedBird idea, less so the Allegri one. His salary shouldn’t be an issue and he could be a wildcard.

Finally, there is Goncalo Ramos, who will be offered to Milan again this summer. His agent Jorge Mendes is looking to make a deal happen, but at €5 million per season, it seems difficult to imagine…
