Viktor Gyokeres response to Coventry City promotion speaks volumes as Premier League reunion…

Coventry City’s promotion to the Premier League has received a response from Viktor Gyokeres.

The Sky Blues sealed a return to the top flight with a 1-1 draw at Blackburn Rovers in the Championship on Friday night.

Frank Lampard’s side will now try to clinch the Championship title before taking the massive step up into the Premier League next season.

Coventry posted a message on Instagram as the club celebrated promotion, saying: “Today we have fulfilled our promise to return to the Premier League.

“We do so with ambition, with unity, and with a clear vision for the future.

“WE ARE BACK.”
