Leeds United took an other giant step towards Premier League survival with a professional 3-0 win over bottom club Wolves, who could be relegated this weekend.

Leeds scored twice in three minutes when Noah Okafor netted his fifth goal in as many Premier League games after James Justin's acrobatic over-head kick set Elland Road alight inside 18 minutes.

United had a few hairy moments with Wolves scrambling the ball towards goal on occasion, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin having to clear one off the line again.

A dull second half was broken up by the fourth official pulling his calf and needing to be replaced by fourth official Lewis Smith.

Play-off final heartbreaker of two years ago Adam Armstrong then sent a concerted warning to a sluggish leeds when he chipped over Darlow but for an offside flag.

Leeds made sure they went nine points clear, for now, of the drop zone when Calvert-Lewin fired home his spot kick in added time. Here are how the players rated.

Karl Darlow - Produced a fine close-range save from a corner just past the hour-mark. A touch hesistant at times when coming out but did what he needed to. Gets an extra mark for that and another clean sheet. 8

Jayden Bogle - Enjoyed numerous ventrues forward, both inside and on the flank. Was beaten a few times in the second half and failed to make the most of a breakaway. But was otherwise sound in his work. 7

James Justin - Super over-head kick and is surely among the very best he's scored. Saved a one-on-one situation with a diving header away in the first half. Popped off a few sublime passes down the line. Got a late yellow. 8

Jaka Bijol - Usually chose the safe pass. Put in a crunching standing tackle to send an attacker flying in the second half, albeit probably with a bruise to show for it. 7

Pascal Strujik - Solid and calm. Chose the right option. His header on from an attacking corner in the first half should have perhaps ended with a goal. Pulled a late shot just wide of the post. 8

Gabriel Gudmundsson - A cool head, as ever. The reason why Okafor was able to get forward so much in the first half. Managed to somehow throw a throw-in out of play in the second. 7

Ethan Ampadu - Commanding and authoritative. Perhaps a bit fortunate not to get penalised for a kick into the chest of Mateus Mane. But otherwise, took a strangle-hold of the midfield game. Some neat touches. 7

Ao Tanaka - Won the duels he wasn't at the start of the season. Retained the ball very well. Lovely ball over for Wilfried Gnonto in the build up to the winning of the penalty. 8

Brenden Aaronson - Took full advantage of a sloppy ball from Wolves to set up Okafor's second goal, with a brilliant pass. Was biting at Wolves players whenever in the vicinity. Ambitious with his play. Took his frustrations out on Ladislav Krejci after a tackle. 7

Noah Okafor - Well-taken goal. An extra spring in his step after Monday, full of confidence and ambition. Standing ovation when he went off. 8

Dominic Calvert-Lewin - Got on the end of balls that looked destined to evade him more than once. Cleared one while on the goal-line like at Old Trafford. Didn't have much fed to him in the second half but took his penalty clinically. 8

SUBS

Joe Rodon (90+5' for Gudmundsson) - Came on too late for a rating. N/A.

Ilia Gruev (78' for Aaronson) - Lost the ball as Adam Armstrong scored his offside goal. Then let a pass go by him. 5

Sean Longstaff (90+5' for Ao Tanaka) - Came on too late for a rating. N/A.

Wilfried Gnonto (67' for Okafor) - Brought the ball down for Struijk's narrowly-wide effort. Ran the ball towards his own goal at one stage but then produved a sublime ball for Calvert-Lewin's winning of his penalty. 6

Lukas Nmecha (90+5' for Calvert-Lewin) -Came on too late for a rating. N/A.

MANAGER: Daniel Farke - Was right to keep with the same XI that did so well at Old Trafford and they repaid him. Only tinkered in the second half, wanting to keep the equilibrium - though a better team might have caused Leeds more problems. Did what was needed, but nothing more - which is fine. 7
