Leeds United pulled themselves nine points clear of relegation trouble following a controlled 3-0 win at home to Wolves on Saturday. James Justin and Noah Okafor scored within two first-half minutes of each other as the home side took control at Elland Road, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s second-half added-time penalty the icing on the cake.
The victory caps off a momentous week for Leeds in which they’ve won consecutive Premier League games to go within touching distance of survival. Daniel Farke’s side can now sit back as Tottenham host Brighton before Nottingham Forest play Burnley on Sunday and West Ham go to Crystal Palace a day later.
