Rob Edwards insists he shares fans’ anger as Wolves’ dismal defeat at Leeds leaves them on the brink of relegation.
A 3-0 loss at Elland Road all but confirms Wolves will play in the Championship next season, with results elsewhere potentially mathematically confirming it this weekend.
Many fans vented their fury towards the players and Edwards at full-time and an angry Edwards says he understands their reaction and shares their feelings.
”I completely understand the frustration and accept it,” the head coach said.
“The fans should be angry and I’ll never, ever say anything other than that.
“They travel everywhere and they support the team and they have the right to vent and show their anger and frustration. There’s absolutely no problem from me.
“I'm as angry and disappointed as they are. This has obviously been a long time coming and our situation has been difficult for all of this season and even seasons before, as we know and we've spoken about.
“All I can do is promise them that we're working extremely hard to make sure that we're not feeling like this again.
“I actually think it's quite apt that we're here at Leeds, who have been through their difficulties as well and fairly recently.
“But the way they've responded as a football club, you can see everybody now is right behind it, in the FA Cup semi-final, performing very well in the league, which is where we've been fairly recently as a football club.
“It can be done. We can turn things around and we're working really hard to do that.”

Wolves did not start well against Leeds but ultimately threw the game away in 86 first half seconds when they conceded twice in quick succession.
The second of those came from a dreadful Toti Gomes mistake and an irritated Edwards believes individual errors have been Wolves’ downfall.
“It really angers me and frustrates me and the lads, the staff, because we've shot ourselves in the foot again,” he added.
“Ultimately, we are where we are and the situation we're in because of too many mistakes, individual mistakes that we get punished with at this level, that's what happens.
“It can happen, you can concede once and we can break that down. It's not a good goal to concede the first one, but the second one we just regain the ball, we lose it straight away, we don't close quick enough on the opposite side. It's just poor to concede in that manner.
“Very similar to last week, and at Anfield where it happened as well. Those moments away from home, you just can't do it.”
Meanwhile, Angel Gomes came off in the first half with a knock, while goalkeeper Jose Sa pulled out of the team before kick-off with an injury.
When asked for an injury update, Edwards said: “Angel was struggling with his foot, underneath his big toe area, and that became too painful and he was almost compensating. He wasn't comfortable at all.
“Jose, yesterday when he dived, he felt pain in his back and his shoulder and I think it was more of a spasm.
“He travelled and we gave him as long as possible, as much time as possible. We ended up calling it when we arrived here at the ground.”
