Everton fans urge The Friedkin Group to copy Arsenal as complaint made at Fan Advisory Board…

Everton are still settling in at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Tweaks have been made throughout the campaign to ensure the new ground feels more homely for Everton supporters, with The Friedkin Group acting on feedback regarding the DJ and also reintroducing popular food items.

However, fans still have some complaints – as is natural given the fact there have only been 18 games at the Hill Dickinson Stadium so far – with supporters eager to see more recognition of Everton around the ground.

Everton supporters call for more murals and signage at Fan Advisory Board meeting

As Henry Winter reveals on Substack, supporters in attendance at the Fan Advisory Board meeting on Thursday night urged Everton to decorate the Hill Dickinson Stadium with more nods to the Toffees.

Fans used the example of Arsenal working closely with supporters after moving to the Emirates Stadium, which is now adorned with photos of legends such as Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp, along with a statue of Arsene Wenger and many more club-related features.

Everton fans believe the Hill Dickinson Stadium currently lacks “feel or sense” and needs more “Evertonisation” – according to Winter, who was present at the Fan Advisory Board meeting and relayed quotes from supporters on Substack.

Supporters also used the Shed Wall at Stamford Bridge as an example of how The Friedkin Group can make the Hill Dickinson Stadium feel more like home.

The Shed Wall displays large images of club legends such as Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard – the images even come with individual QR codes for fans to scan, which show statistics and more.

Of course, Everton were never going to get everything right in the first campaign at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, which is why meetings like the one on Thursday night take place and are of great significance.

Forget the transport issues, if you could change one thing about the Hill Dickinson, what would it be? 🤔

Hopefully, The Friedkin Group can sit down with supporters at one point this summer to make the necessary changes.
