Kaoru Mitoma’s stunning volley brought Brighton and Hove Albion level at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Albion winger is known for moments of magic and, despite not making a habit of it for Brighton this season, scored at the perfect time on Saturday (April 18).
The goal – a volley into the roof of the net from Pascal Gross’ cross to the back post – could prove crucial in the Seagulls’ hunt for a European place. Watch a clip of the goal here.
Former Spurs midfielder Andy Reid couldn’t hide his appreciation for the strike, on BBC Radio 5 Live.
He said: “Wow, an absolutely incredible goal. Mitoma controls it so well, what a spectacular goal.
"I can't give that goal high enough praise. The level of technical ability to control that football, get the pace on it.
“The Tottenham Stadium is stunned. It's a great time to score.”
The visitors had fallen behind to Pedro Porro’s 39th minute header, before Roberto De Zerbi’s men threatened to double their lead.
