Late Brighton strike keeps Wolves in the Premier League for a couple more days at least

Wolves will spend at least another 48 hours as a Premier League side.

The Molineux men appeared set to finally lose their top-flight status on another disappointing day - though it now hangs by the slimmest of threads.

Wolves managed to get to half-time without inflicting further damage and despite a better second half, they were unable to get back into the game before Hugo Bueno’s foul gave Dominic Calvert-Lewin the chance to add a third from the penalty spot.

It is likely to only be the briefest of reprieves for Wolves, who will be relegated if West Ham get at least a point at Crystal Palace on Monday night.
